Cuauhtemoc Blanco scored one goal and also had an assist as the MLS All-Stars defeated West Ham United 3-2 on Thursday night in the MLS All-Star game. The MLS All-Stars continued their success against world teams as they remain unbeaten in the format. Dwayne DeRosario converted a penalty for what turned out to be the game winner for the Soccer Betting MLS All-Stars. The MLS All-Stars have now won five straight in the friendlies against foreign clubs.
Forward Dean Ashton scored both goals for West Ham who actually led 1-0 in the first half. Los Angeles midfielder David Beckham had an assist in his first MLS All-Star appearance. He nearly scored in the first half but his free kick was stopped by West Ham defender Calum Davenport. West Ham scored first as Ashton scored in the 26th minute on a nice assist from Carlton Cole. Beckham and Blanco assisted on Christian Gomez’s goal just moments later to tie the game. Gomez scored with a low shot under West Ham goalkeeper Robert Green. Just before halftime Blanco scored a nice goal to give the MLS All-Stars the lead. Blanco took at Juan Toja pass and got past Scott Parker and put a nice shot into the far corner of the net.
Ashton scored to tie the game in the 68th minute as his long shot deflected off defender Jimmy Conrad and past Reis. Just moments later the MLS All-Stars took the lead again as referee Mauricio Navarro called a penalty after Lucas Neill brought down DeRosario inside the penalty box. DeRosario scored just off the underside of the top crossbar as the ball bounced into the net.

MLS All-Stars were loudly supported by the sellout crowd in Toronto and they gave the fans an exciting game. The game was definitely one of the best All-Star games with a total of five goals being scored. The chances were excellent, the stars shined and the MLS put on a good show.
