 The SuperLiga final is set as the New England Revolution will host the Houston Dynamo on Tuesday night. The two teams are very familiar with each other, having played in the last two Major League Soccer Cup finals. New England advanced to the final after a 1-0 win over Mexico’s Atlante. Shalrie Joseph scored in the 30th minute for the only goal of the match. Joseph scored off an assist from Steve Ralston. Goalkeeper Matt Reis posted his third shutout of the tournament. It was Joseph’s second goal of the SuperLiga. Reis made four saves to lower his goals against average in the tournament to 0.25.Check out the current line for this game at SBG Global. Houston advanced to the final with a 2-0 win against Pachuca. Bobby Boswell and Corey Ashe scored goals in the final 13 minutes. The first half was scoreless but dominated by Houston. The second half was better for Pachuca but Houston goalkeeper Pat Onstad made a couple of nice saves. He stopped defender Leobardo Lopen and Bruno Marioni and Pachuca seemed to lose momentum as the half continued. Pachuca had a goal waved off for offsides in the 60th minute. Houston took the lead with a goal in the 77th minute. Dwayne De Rosario's corner kick was deflected by Craig Waibel and the ball came to Boswell who put it home for the first goal. With three minutes left in regulation, Ashe scored the clincher as he headed home a Brian Mullan cross. Houston really wanted the victory in the SuperLiga against Pachuca. They were knocked out by Pachuca in the Soccer Betting SuperLiga semifinals last season and in the CONCACAF Champions' Cup. Houston lost in the CONCACAF Champions Cup semifinals 5-4 on aggregate in the two-leg series and in last year's SuperLiga, Pachuca prevailed over the Dynamo at Robertson Stadium, 4-3 on penalty kicks after the teams played a 2-2 draw. The final between New England and Houston should be a good one as the teams always seem to play close matches. Houston has defeated New England in the last two MLS Finals so revenge will definitely be on the mind of the Revolution for this game.
