The bookies have shortened England to 8/15 from 4/6 to qualify for Euro 2008 following England's 3-0 victory over Estonia in Tallinn.
Goals from Joe Cole, Peter Crouch and Michael Owen sealed three vital points and they now have 14 points from seven matches. David Beckham inspired the victory by setting up the goals from Crouch and Owen.
Croatia's tame scoreless draw with Russia has further strengthened Steve McLaren´s side´s prospects as both sides are currently above England in Group E.
The table now reads Russia in third with 15 points from seven games, Israel have 17 points from eight after their 2-0 away win in Andorra and Croatia are top of the table the way with 17 points from seven.
England's next match is at Wembley against Israel on September 8 and then another home fixture as they entertain Russia that same week on September 12, 2007. Crucially, England play Croatia at Wembley on November 21, 2007.
William Hill now make England 9/4 second favourites to win their Group behind 10/11 Croatia. Russia are 3/1 with Israel are 20/1.
Manager McClaren is 4/5 to still be in charge of England when the Euro finals come to an end and is 10/11 to be out of the job before then.
The Euro 2008 outright betting sees England now trading England at 8/1 to win the tournament. Germany are the 11/2 favourites.
