West Brom v Luton – Coca Cola Championship – Friday 14.45 PM EST – Live on Sky Sports
There is a huge doubt surrounding star striker Nathan Ellington, who is highly unlikely to start for Tony Mobray’s West Brom side tonight against Mike Newell’s Luton Town after he handed in a written transfer request this week to the West Brom board.
Whilst The request was reluctantly accepted but boss Mowbray expects the 25-year-old to continue the work that has got Premiership clubs looking to prepare bids during the transfer window.
Mowbray has some rearranging to do ahead of tonights clash after loosing Nigel Quashie to West Ham earlier in the week, while Paul McShane is also suspended.
Goalkeeper Dean Kiely returns for Luton after he missing last weekend's FA Cup draw at QPR due to restrictions on his loan move. He will return at the expense of Marlon Beresford, who will drop to the bench.
David Bell could be recalled to the side after serving a suspension and Mike Newell also hopes to bring back defensive paring Kevin Foley and Lewis Emanuel, who missed Saturday’s FA Cup draw with QPR. He will have to do without long-term casualties Markus Heikkinen (gashed leg), Paul Underwood (infection) and signing from Hull, Sam Parkin (ankle) all remain on the injured list as Newell's side look to pull away from the lower reaches of the Championship.
