UEFA European Championship Betting Odds Qualifying matches for Euro 2008 will start playing on June 2nd, 2007 and online sports betting giant Bodog.com has posted UEFA European Champion betting odds on each qualifier.

The UEFA European Football Championship is the main football competition of the men's national football teams governed by the UEFA. Held every four years since 1960, in the even-numbered year between World Cup tournaments, it was originally called the European Nations Cup, changing to the name European Football Championship in 1968. The tournament is considered the second-most important competition among national teams, based on European and worldwide fame, after the FIFA World Cup. Specific championships are often referred to in the form "Euro 2008" or whichever year is appropriate.

The groundwork for a European national-team competition began in 1956, two years later the first European Nations' Cup, now known as the UEFA European Championship, was under way.

Greece went on to win Euro 2004 by stunning the world by beating defending champions France in the quarterfinals and the heavily favored Czech Republic in the semifinals before beating host nation Portugal for a second time, 1-0, in the final. Bookmakers were giving odds of about 80-1 to 150-1 for the Greeks before the tournament.
