Andy dominated his Dubai debut with a win over Spaniard Juan Carlos Ferrero 6-2, 6-4.Andy sailed through the first set with seven aces, and converted two out of four break point opportunities for 6-2 in less than thirty minutes.  Roddick kept on rolling, this time beating Frenchman Paul-Henri Mathieu 6-3 6-4.  

Next Andy will meet his arch nemesis Rafael Nadal. Andy has played Nadal three times before, trailing their head-to-head series 1-2.
