2010 French Open: Serena Williams vs Julia Goerges Betting Odds: Serena Williams, the WTP's top ranked performer, will meet Germany's Julia Goerges tomorrow morning in the second round of the 2010 French Open. Serena Williams advanced to the second round of action at Roland Garros on Sunday with a 7-6, 6-2 victory over Stefanie 
Voegele. Williams did not play her best, though, as she had 22 unforced errors compared to Voegele's 12. However, the Michigan native made up for her mistakes by scoring 10 aces and 28 winners. Williams also won 80 percent of the time on her first serve, of which she got 61 percent in play.
Williams has one French Open title on her resume (2002), but she has not advanced past the quarterfinals at Roland Garros since 2003.
Julia Goerges, who is playing in just her second French Open, overcame Hungary's Melinda Czink 6-2, 6-3 on Sunday to earn a meeting with Williams. The 21 year old manufactured eight aces and 21 winners in the victory; she also played nearly mistake free, accumulating a meager four unforced errors.
Goerges was eliminated in the first round of play at last year's tournament; she has not reached the third round in eight previous Grand Slam appearances.
