Novak Djokovic extended his winning streak to 39-0 on the year after he beat Victor Hanescu on Wednesday to set up a third-round clash against Juan Martin del Potro at Roland Garros. Second seed Djokovic hit 14 winners and committed six unforced errors to win the first set 6-4 against Hanescu. He won 87% of points on his first serve in the 6-1 second set, before Hanescu requested treatment for a left thigh strain.
