2009 French Open: Bookmaker Bodog.com's 2009 French Open: Nikolay Davydenko vs Stanislas Wawrinka Betting Odds have the Russian Davydenko listed as a -140 money line favorite in what should be an outstanding third round match at Roland Garros.

Nikolay Davydenko, competing in his ninth French Open, is presently the 11th ranked ATP men's singles player in the world. The Ukrainian native, who has made it past the third round in his last three French Open appearances, advanced to the third round this year by beating Stefan Kouber in the first round 6-2, 6-1, 6-4 and Diego Junqueira 4-6, 6-3, 6-0, 6-2 in the second round.

The right handed Davydenko struggled with his serve in the first two rounds, recording just five aces and five double faults. Davydenko is 12-5 this year and 330-218 in his professional career. He made it to the semi-finals of the French Open in 2008 and 2005.

Stanislas Wawrinka, who is ranked 18th in the world, barely made it out of the first round in his fifth French Open appearance. The Swiss native scrapped by Frenchman Nicolas Devilder 6-4, 6-3, 5-7, 2-6, 6-4. He, however, rebounded in the second round by breezing through his match with Nicolas Massu 6-1, 6-1, 6-2. 

Wawrinka is now 16-9 this year and 126-105 for his career. He has one singles title, and made a semi-finals appearance at the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 in Monte Carlo earlier this year.

Davydenko and Wawrinka are set to play at 5:00am ET on Friday, May 29th on Court 7.
