Roland Garros 2009: Tennis oddsmakers at Bodog.com have released their Sorana Cirstea vs Samantha Stosur Roland Garros 2009 Betting Odds and they are leaning toward Stosur to win tomorrow's match at -150 on the money line.

Romanian Sorana Cirstea advanced to the quarterfinals in just her second French Open by getting the better of the world's fifth ranked player, Jelena Jankovic 3-6, 6-0, 9-7. The 19 year old was able to overcome 51 unforced errors and get the win as a result of her 43 winners (Jankovic had 23).

Cirstea, who is presently ranked 41st in the world, is 9-11 in singles matches this year. She showed some determination in besting the 24 year old Jankovic, but she also had to conquer some over-eagerness in order to do so.

"I really wanted to win," Cirstea said. "Maybe I wanted too much in the first set and I wasn't playing the right way. I was a little nervous. But then, after I lost the first set, I said, I have nothing to lose. I just need to relax."

Samantha Stosur, the WTP's 32nd ranked player, upset Elena Dementieva in the third round on Saturday and beat Virginie Razzano 6-1, 6-2 in yesterday's fourth round. The Australian had eight aces, 26 winners, and just 12 unforced errors in garnering her first quarterfinals appearance at a Grand Slam event. 

Despite being 25 year's old, Stosur is learning on the fly how to deal with success on a big stage but she would like to taste a little more.

"This is my best Grand Slam result now, so that's something to be pleased about," Stosur said. "But I think, you know,  I want to to try and get even further. I've got to keep doing what I've been doing and just keep doing the process."
