Their match is scheduled to get underway at 7:00am ET on the Philippe Chatrier Court. French Open 2010 Betting Odds at Bodog.com have Soderling listed as a -240 moneyline favorite.

Robin Soderling advanced to the semifinals at the French Open for a second consecutive year by slaying tennis giant RogerFrench Open 2010: Robin Soderling vs Tomas Berdych Betting Odds Federer 3-6, 6-3, 7-5, 6-4 in their quarterfinals match on Tuesday. Soderling, who lost to Federer in last year's final after beating Rafael Nadal in the fourth round, overcame the Swiss master despite committing 15 more unforced errors. The 25 year old did so by hitting 49 winners and 14 aces while winning 25 of 39 second serves.

Soderling, who is currently seventh in the ATP rankings, credited part of his success to having reached the final last year.

"It's difficult playing in your first Grand Slam final, no doubt," Soderling said. "Now I am in there and I've played on the centre court a couple of times. It was a little bit easier this time."

Tomas Berdych reached the semifinals at a major for the first time in his career by beating 11th seeded Russian Mikhail Youzhny 6-3, 6-1, 6-2 in the quarterfinals. The straight sets victory was the fifth of the tournament for Berdych, who ousted fourth seed Andy Murray before squaring off against Youzhny.

The 24 year old Monte Carlo resident had eight aces to the Russian's one and he also smashed 13 more winners than did Youzhny.

Berdych and Soderling have faced each other seven times in their careers, with Soderling taking a slight 4-3 edge in those matches. However, Berdych did get the better of things in their last meeting, earning a 6-2, 6-2 victory in Miami earlier this year. The Czech also won their only clay match, beating the Swede 5-7, 6-3, 6-0 in Monte Carlo in 2007.
