French Open 2009: Online bookmaker BetUS.com has released their Roger Federer vs Juan Martin Del Potro French Open 2009 Betting Odds and they have installed Federer as a -400 money line favorite in tomorrow's semi-final match.

Think Roger Federer is fading? Think again. The 28 year old Swiss will make his 19th consecutive Grand Slam semi-finals appearance tomorrow morning after beating Frenchman Gael Monfils in yesterday's quarterfinals. Federer beat Monfils, the ATP's 10th ranked player, in straight sets 7-6, 6-2, 6-4. The world's No. 2 player had eight aces and just one double fault in the match. He also recorded 40 winners and won 80 percent of the time on his first serve.

Federer felt good about the match, which produced just his second straight sets win at this year's French Open.

"I think it's been my most consistent match of the tournament so far," Federer said. "Of course, it [came] at the right time because I knew the danger of Gael."

Now Federer has the fifth ranked Juan Martin Del Potro standing in the way of his fourth consecutive French Open finals appearance and, potentially, his first ever French Open title. The 13 time Grand Slam winner anticipates nothing will come easy in tomorrow's proceedings.

"It's a good match up," Federer said. "I've had some success against him, especially in Australia. I played great [but] that's not the kind of match I'm looking at. I'm looking more [at] Madrid [where] it was a closer match. I think clay suits his game even more, and he's really improved a lot in the last year or so. I'm sure it's going to be a difficult match."

Del Potro earned his first ever Grand Slam semi-final appearance by dispatching Spaniard Tommy Robredo in straight sets in the quarterfinals 6-3, 6-4, 6-2. The native of Argentina had 14 aces and just one double fault in securing the win. He also had 15 more winners than did Robredo.

The 20 year old recognized that Federer will be the crowd favorite, as well as the match favorite, when the two get things started tomorrow. However, Del Potro indicated that he has some goals of his own.

"[I] feel the pressure of the fans, everybody wants Roger to win this tournament," Del Potro said. "It's going to be very difficult. We all know how he plays, and we all know what he wants to achieve here now that Rafa is no longer here. [But] I still have expectations. I still have objectives...[I want ]to win this match."

Nonetheless, Del Potro added this: "If I can't win this tournament, I want to see...Roger with the trophy."
