2009 Wimbledon Odds: Bodog.com has released their 2009 Wimbledon Odds, Picks, Predictions & Prop Bets and with Rafael Nadal out of the picture, the online bookmaker has installed five time Wimbledon winner Roger Federer as the favorite in this year's tournament at 5 to 7 betting odds. Earlier this month Federer recorded his first ever French Open championship and in the process garnered a record tying 14th career Grand Slam title.   2009 Wimbledon Odds, Picks, Predictions & Prop Bets

Roger Federer enters Monday's tilt with Yen-Hsun Lu sporting a 33-6 2009 match record. The Swiss born Federer, who has 59 career singles titles, has made the finals in 19 of the last 25 Grand Slam events and he has been to the finals at Wimbledon the last six years (won five).

The 27 year old will begin play in the fourth bracket and has a relatively easy draw as the number one seed. Potential stumbling blocks in the section include Spaniard Fernando Verdasco, Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, and his finals opponent at Roland Garros, the Swedish born Robin Soderling.

Listed second to Federer in Bodog.com's 2009 Wimbledon Picks is Scotsman Andy Murray at 12 to 5 betting odds. Murray, the world's third ranked player, is 40-6 this year with four singles titles. The 22 year old will be looking for his first Grand Slam title when things get underway tomorrow. Murray, who has been to the quarterfinals or better in three of the last four majors, was eliminated at Wimbledon last year by eventual champion Rafael Nadal in the quarterfinal round.

The ATP's fourth ranked player, Serbian Novak Djokovic, is being listed at 12 to 1 betting odds at Bodog.com. Djokovic, who was eliminated in the second round at Wimbledon last year by Russian Marat Safin, will be looking to rebound from a poor performance at the French Open earlier this month. The 22 year old was taken out in straight sets by German Philipp Kohlschreiber in the third round.

On the women's side of the ledger, Bodog.com has listed Serena Williams as the favorite at 9 to 4 betting odds. Williams, who won both the singles and doubles titles at the Australian Open in January, will be in pursuit of her 10th career Grand Slam and third Wimbledon title.

The number one ranked women's player, Dinara Safina — who has yet to win a major — is currently listed at 9 to 1 betting odds in Bodog.com's 2009 Wimbledon Predictions.
