2009 Wimbledon Odds: Former Wimbledon champion Maria Sharapova will take on Gisela Dulko of Argentina tomorrow morning in a second round Centre Court match. Sharapova, who is still working her way back up the WTP rankings after having shoulder surgery last fall, is being listed as a -550 moneyline favorite in online bookmaker Bodog.com's 2009 Wimbledon Odds: Maria Sharapova vs Gisela Dulko.

Maria Sharapova, who won at Wimbledon in 2004, is currently ranked 60th in women's singles despite an 11-3 match record this year. She can change that this week if she displays the form she has in past Grand Slams (three career titles). She did that yesterday, disposing of Ukrainian Viktoriya Kutuzova in straight sets 7-5, 6-4. Sharapova, who appeared in the quarterfinals at Roland Garros last month, had six aces and 29 winners in the match.

The 22 year old has missed two of the last three majors as a result of her injury and she was eliminated in the second round last year at Wimbledon for the first time in six career appearances there. Sharapova, who appears to be returning to her old self, has made it to at least the semi-finals in 10 of the 18 Grand Slams she has played in.

Gisela Dulko of Buenos, Argentina made it to the second round at Wimbledon for the fifth time in six years as she bested Stephanie Foretz of France 6-3, 7-5. Dulko, who has three career single's titles, improved her match record to 22-13 this year with the win.

The 24 year old Dulko had five aces, 33 winners, and 18 unforced errors in the match while Foretz had zero, 24, and 26 respectively.

Sharapova and Dulko are set to begin play at 7:00am Central Daylight Time tomorrow morning on Wimbledon's Centre Court.
