Wimbledon Finals Odds: Shockingly, the Wimbledon women's final will feature a Williams sister, and in this case, it will present both of them. Venus Williams beat the top-ranked Dinara Safina to advance to the championship, while her sister, Serena, overcame a tough Elena Dementieva to reach her fifth Wimbledon final. Online bookmaker Bodog.com has the elder Williams, Venus, listed as a -140 moneyline favorite in their Venus Williams vs Serena Williams Wimbledon Finals Odds.Venus Williams vs Serena Williams Wimbledon Finals Odds

Venus Williams made quick work of Dinara Safina on Wednesday, beating the WTP's number one ranked player in straight sets 6-1, 6-0. Venus, who has five Wimbledon titles, had five aces, one unforced error, and 16 winners in her easy dismissal of Safina. The 29 year old won 80 percent of her first serve opportunities, a sharp contrast to the miserable 30 percent that the Russian posted.

Now Williams will meet her sister, and doubles partner, for the 21st time as a professional singles player. The record between the two phenoms is an even 10-10. Interestingly enough, there meeting tomorrow morning will mark the fifth time the two siblings have faced each other at Wimbledon, where they are also squared up at 2-2.

Venus indicated that she will need to be prepared for the intensity that her sister will bring to the court if she is to get an advantage in the personal standings.

"Even if she's not playing her best, just that fight that she has, you're facing that," Williams said of her Wimbledon Finals Odds opponent. "So there's so much to face when you play her. It's definitely a lot to get your mind around. So for me I'll be focusing on getting past the player and the fight in the final."

Serena Williams had a more difficult time reaching tomorrow's final than did her sister, but she prevailed nonetheless, edging out fourth ranked Elena Dementieva 6-7, 7-5, 8-6. Williams had two more unforced errors than Dementieva, but she more than made up for that by serving up 20 aces and scoring 45 winners (Dementieva had 3 and 27 respectively).

Serena, the No. 2 ranked women's singles player, will be playing for her third Wimbledon title and 11th Grand Slam crown when she takes the court tomorrow. She has not won at Wimbledon since 2003, but did she did return to the finals for the first time since 2004 when she lost to Venus 5-7, 4-6 in last year's championship match.

The younger Williams downplayed any awkwardness that might exist between she and Venus as a result of their occasional head-to-head competition.

"You know, when we play our match on Saturday, it's for everything," Williams said. "This is what we dreamed of when we were growing up in Compton 20 something years ago...this is what we worked for, and this is what we want."

The Wimbledon Women's Final is scheduled to take place Saturday, July 4th at approximately 7:00am CDT.
