Andy Roddick vs Roger Federer 2009 Wimbledon Men's Final Odds, Picks & PredictionsHistory will be on the line tomorrow morning when Roger Federer and Andy Roddick meet at Centre Court for the men's Wimbledon final. Federer will be attempting to win a record 15th Grand Slam final and he will be shooting for his sixth Wimbledon crown, a tally that would leave him one short of Pete Sampras record seven. Online bookmaker Bodog.com has Federer listed as a heavy -750 moneyline favorite in their Andy Roddick vs Roger Federer 2009 Wimbledon Men's Final Odds, Picks & Predictions.

Roger Federer has had a little bit easier run at Wimbledon than he did at last month's French Open. The Swiss sensation has won every match in straight sets, including a semifinals victory over Tommy Haas yesterday morning. Federer, who is ranked No. 2 in men's singles by the ATP, bested the German 7-6, 7-5, 6-3 to earn his 19th Grand Slam finals appearance.

The 27 year old Federer, who has 59 career singles titles, will be squaring off against Andy Roddick for the 21st time as a professional. Federer has certainly gotten the better of things between he and the American as he has won 18 of their 20 matches. Roddick did score a 7-6, 4-6, 6-3 win over Federer at the ATP Masters Series in Miami last year, but the Basel, Switzerland native has taken Andy out in straight sets in all 18 of his wins.

The two players have met three times at Wimbledon with Federer emerging victorious on every occasion. The last time they hooked up at the All England Lawn Tennis Championships was in the 2005 final. Roddick fell in rather easy fashion, losing 2-6, 6-7, 4-6.

Despite his record against Roddick, Federer indicated that there will be little relaxation on his part due to the high stakes in tomorrow's proceedings.

"Tension always comes back for any Grand Slam final, or final for that matter," Federer said. "Knowing I only have one match to go, it definitely changes your mindset. [And] records are part of this great match right now, so it's obviously even more of an incentive to try really hard."

Andy Roddick, the world's sixth ranked men's singles player, will be chasing his second Grand Slam title and his first Wimbledon trophy when he steps on the court tomorrow. The 26 year old has made the finals at the event two other times, falling to Federer at each juncture. This year, Roddick won epic quarterfinal and semifinal matches to garner another crack at the world's greatest player.

On Wednesday the Omaha, Nebraska native beat resurgent Australian Lleyton Hewitt 6-3, 6-7, 7-6, 4-6, 6-4 and yesterday he overcame crowd favorite Andy Murray 6-4, 4-6, 7-6, 7-6. Roddick had 21 aces, 64 winners, and 24 unforced errors in beating Murray.

Despite taking out the Englishman, Roddick is hoping for a little crowd support when he battles it out with Federer tomorrow.

"I think maybe here more so than any other place than the States I've developed a little rapport with the fans," Roddick said. "But certainly, you know, Roger's earned their respect many, many, many times over. You know, hopefully they'll like both of us a little bit."

Andy Roddick vs Roger Federer 2009 Wimbledon Men's Final Odds, Picks & Predictions is set to get underway at 8:00am CDT tomorrow morning.
