Get with Andy Roddick to win this week´s Stella Artois Championship event at Queen´s Club. The big server has experienced his usual rough form on the clay of Roland Garros but it will be a different story on the lightning fast grass surfaces in London this week. Roddick already confidently beat Radek Stepanek 6-4 6-4 in the second-round.
Looking ahead to Wimbledon Andy Roddick is likely once again to be Roger Federer's main challenger at SW19. With that in mind it may well pay to monitor Roddick´s Wimbledon odds in the lead up to the tournament. Bodog.com currently has Roddick at 10/1 tennis betting odds.
With Wimbledon a few weeks away, the Texas resident is gunning for his fourth win at Queens with victories in 2003, 2004 and 2005 and is set for a big grass court swing here and at Wimbledon under new coach Jimmy Connors.
Andy’s big serve sees him start at an immediate advantage to anyone on the ATP Tour on the green stuff and despite being pitched into the same half of the draw as Lleyton Hewitt and perennial flop Tim Henman, we think he rates a cracking bet.
It may be true that he has lacked the variety to trouble world number one Federer but that wont be a worry at Queens with Federer playing elsewhere at the Gerry Weber event.
