The Oklahoma Sooners and the Michigan Wolverines will face each other today in a South Region tilt at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MIssouri. Tip off is set for 5:50pm ET; the game will be televised live on CBS. Today's winner will advance to play either Syracuse or Arizona State at the Regionals in Memphis, Tennessee next weekend.

Oklahoma captured just their third win in their last seven games on Thursday when they took out 15 seed Morgan State 82-54 at the Sprint Center. The Sooners are now 28-5 on the season as a result of their dispatching of the Bears and they are 5-1 in neutral site games. OU moved their season scoring average to 79.3 per game in the win.
The Sooners found little resistance in the Morgan State defense as they managed to hit over 60 percent from the field against the Bears. Blake Griffin carried most of the load, scoring 28 points on 11-of-12 shooting and snagging 13 rebounds. Oklahoma held Morgan State to 28.6 percent field goal shooting and 6-of-23 from three point range.
Michigan, who had not made a NCAA Tournament appearance in 11 years, grabbed an upset 62-59 win over the seventh seeded Clemson Tigers on Thursday in Kansas City. The Wolverines have now won three of their last four games in advancing their overall record to 21-13. They are 4-2 in neutral site games this season.
John Beilein's squad won the game from beyond the arc, connecting on 10 three point shots to Clemson's five. Sophomore Guard Manny Harris, Michigan's leading scorer, had a tremendous game, scoring 23 points, grabbing seven boards, and dishing out six assists. The only other Wolverine to reach double figures was guard Stu Douglass (12 points).
