The Texas Longhorns will take on the number two seed Duke Blue Devils tonight in Greensboro, North Carolina. The East Region skirmish is set to tip off at 8:10pm ET at the Greensboro Coliseum and it will broadcast live on CBS. If the Longhorns can upset the Blue Devils, they will meet the Villanova Wildcats in Boston next weekend.

Texas improved to 23-11 after taking out the Minnesota Golden Gophers in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday in Greensboro. The Longhorns, who have won four of their last six games, got off to a slow start but eventually put Tubby Smith's squad away by a score of 76-62. The win was the Longhorns sixth in eight neutral site games this season.
Texas hit 47.4 percent from the floor against Minnesota and an astounding 55 percent from three point range. Guard A.J. Abrams scored 26 points after connecting on 8-of-15 from beyond the arc. Aiding the senior were center Dexter Pittman and forward Damion James. The two frontcourt mates combined for 35 points and 20 rebounds in the win.
Duke had little trouble in their first round game, disposing of the Binghamton Bearcats 86-62 at the Greensboro Coliseum on Thursday. The victory was the Blue Devils fourth in a row and ninth in their last 10 games. Coach K's squad, which is averaging 78.3 points per game, is now 7-0 in neutral site contests.
The Dukies, who had six players in double figures against Binghamton, shot 49 percent from the field and 45 percent from long range. They also hit 21 of their 25 free throw attempts while the Bearcats connected on just one of their five shots from the stripe. Leading the Blue Devils was guard Jon Scheyer and forward Kyle Singler; the two players united for 25 points and 12 rebounds.
