Kate Middleton and Prince William Royal Tour Officially Begins

by Reno Gold on Thursday, June 30th, 2011

Officially they are the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, but Royal watchers know them as William and Kate, the grandson of England's Queen Elizabeth II and son of the Royal Heir to the Throne, His Majesty Charles, Prince of Wales. Prince William and his new bride Kate Middleton arrive in Ottawa today to begin their 10-day trip with stops in Canada and the USA.

Royals propsOne thing is almost guaranteed, where the Royals go, oddsmakers are sure to follow. Online super-sportsbook BODOG.eu has posted a few celebrity props for Royal watchers to put a little wager on. Since the Prince can't blow his nose without it being documented, there are a few other actions William and Kate have the potential to commit.

Will William or Kate be photographed or filmed wearing a cowboy hat at the Calgary Stampede? If you're wager’s a yes and either the Duke or Duchess don a cowboy hat, at +110 odds, the bet will pay $110 on a $100 bet. If you think the Duke and Duchess say no to the notion, the bet will cost $150 to win $100 (-150 odds).

Will the Duke or Duchess be photographed or filmed on a horse at the Calgary Stampede? We think it's possible, knowing the Duke's affection for polo, but oddsmakers think otherwise listing that – he or she doesn't mount any horse at -300 odds ($300 bet to win $100).

On the Royals visit to Canada, will William or Kate be photographed or filmed holding a Quebec flag during their visit? A yes wager will net the bettor $175 on a $100 wager (+175) while a no  is pricy at -250 ($250 bet to win $100).

Point-Spreads.com will be keeping an eye out for any odds updates posted at BODOG.eu and other offshore sports shops for the duration of William and Kate's visit to the North American continent.
