 On April 11th, 2008, Costa Rica revealed their 2008 Miss Universe representative and the best beauty in their whole country María Teresa Rodríguez from Alajuela was named Miss Costa Rica. The beautiful María Teresa Rodríguez is not only easy on the eyes, she is also well noted for her intelligence. The modest Rodríguez also has a one of a kind smile that is sure to stop any man dead in his tracks. Carolina Dementiev Justavino, the 19 year old beauty from Panama City is going to be a tough contestant to beat. The oddsmakers at BetUS.com have Miss Panama Carolina Dementiev Justavino listed among the favorites at +900 odds to win Miss Universe 2008. Justavino not only has the looks to sweep the pageant, but she also has the personality and lifestyle to back her up. Currently she is a law student, model, TV host and an entrepreneur. At only age 19, she owns her own real estate business which she hopes to expand. The Brown haired, hazel eyed beauty really has it all going for her. The Miss Panama Contest actually went through and interesting and strange change in format. Instead of it being just a normal pageant, it was transformed into a reality show behemoth. Titled, Señorita Panamá Realmente Bella 2008, the producers of Senorita Panama had changed the format of the Miss Panama contest to that of a reality TV show, where 10 girls would live together for 8 weeks and participants would get knocked out during the 8 weeks. The format was changed because of the low ratings of the Miss Panama pageant. These two lovely and elegant beauties from South America are sure to do well in the Miss Universe pageant. However, with that said, there can only be one Miss Universe. It should be interesting to see though who will achieve the honorable recognition of Miss Universe 2008.
