Primetime Emmy Awards nominations and betting odds The 60th Emmy Awards are suddenly upon us and online sportsbook BetUS.com is the first to offer multiple betting opportunities on television’s best programs. BetUS oddsmakers are prediciting Mad Men will be the top show in the drama category and 30 Rock will take the Emmy for outstanding comedy.

Mad Men, a drama based in 1960’s era New York City, is about an advertising executive Don Draper (played by John Hamm) and his life in and out of the fictional Sterling Cooper advertising agency. The program is only seen on cable network AMC and is produced by Lionsgate Television. In its first season (2007), Mad Men received critical acclaim including a Golden Globe and Peabody awards for best television drama.

NBC’s 30 Rock, now in its third season, has been a critical success since its debut in 2006 including winning its first Primetime Emmy for outstanding comedy series. The series, created by former Saturday Night Live lead writer and performer Tina Fey is the leader of all programming in primetime Emmy nominations with 17.
