Anquan Boldin Superbowl Prop Bets

by Matt Foust on Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

If the Cardinals are to get past the Steelers in Super Bowl XLIII, they will likely need a big game from beleaguered receiver Anquan Boldin. The Florida State product has been a staple in Arizona's offense for the past six seasons, but was used sparingly in the team's NFC Championship win over the Eagles. A development the 28 year was less than pleased about if his sideline talks with offensive coordinator Todd Haley were any indication. Anquan Boldin Superbowl Prop Bets

Online bookmaker Sportsbook.com, however, is looking for the playmaker to be a factor on Super Sunday, despite the brouhaha between Boldin and Haley during the Philadelphia game. And they have plenty of Anquan Boldin Superbowl prop bets available as proof of such.

Boldin had another monster season for the Cardinals in 2008 as he topped 1000 receiving yards for the fourth time in his six year career. In spite of playing in just 12 games, the former Seminole caught 89 passes for 1038 yards and 11 touchdowns. Boldin has now reeled in 502 receptions for 6496 yards in a Cardinals uniform.

The former rookie of the year missed the final two games of the regular season due to a hamstring injury, but played in Arizona's 30-24 Wild Card win over the Falcons. Boldin caught just two passes against Atlanta, although he took one of those 71 yards for a touchdown. Against the Eagles (Boldin's leg injury sidelined him against Carolina), Anquan caught four passes for 34 yards.
