The wait is almost over, Super Bowl XLIII kicks off tomorrow at 6:00pm ET at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, and so is the opportunity to get down on your favorite to win the Lombardi Trophy. Online bookmaker BetUS.com has more than enough Super Bowl props and futures to satisfy any sports bettor and they also have no fewer than 10 Steelers vs Cardinals Super Bowl point spreads.Steelers vs Cardinals Super Bowl Point Spreads

BetUS.com's current line for the game has the Steelers listed as a -6.5 favorite against the spread and a -250 favorite on the moneyline. However, if you feel that Pittsburgh is a bit overhyped, than BetUS.com has you covered. You can get the Cardinals at +3.5 against the spread in one of their alternative lines or even as a favorite of -3.5 against the spread if you like them outright.

Curious as to how the Steelers have fared as a -6.5 favorite? Well, in their last 10 games as a favorite with a spread between 4 and 7.5 (dating back to October of 2007), they are 7-3 against the number. The three losses all came this season in skirmishes with Cleveland, Baltimore, and San Diego. Pittsburgh beat Baltimore at Heinz Field 23-20 in overtime, but the Ravens covered the number as they were a +6 dog. San Diego covered the number at Heinz Field as well as a 4.5 point underdog, losing 10-11, and Cleveland covered at home against the Steelers, losing 6-10 as a 6.5 point home dog.

How about the surprising Cardinals, how have they performed as a +6.5 underdog? They have held their own too, going 7-3 against the spread in this situation (dating back to November of 2006). Two of their losses occurred in the 2007 season, one against New Orleans and the other against NFC West rival Seattle. The third loss against the number came in 2006 versus the Cowboys. Arizona was the road team in all instances except the slip up in Dallas.

The Cardinals, however, have not been that stellar in their last five outings as a dog. Arizona is just 2-3 against the spread, losing to the Giants, Eagles, and Patriots before righting their course in the post-season with against the spread and outright underdog wins over Philadelphia and Carolina.

The Steelers, on the other hand, have been solid in their last five matches as the favored squad, going 4-1 against the number. They have covered in both of their home playoff wins as well as in regular season home victories over Dallas and Cleveland. Their lone loss came on the road against Tennessee where they lost 14-31 as a -3 road favorite.
