The 2009 NFL Mock Draft below was compiled by the football betting experts of Point-Spreads.com. Even though its basically a crap shoot to select a Quarterback in the first round, the Detroit Lions will still select Georgia Bulldogs QB Matthew Stafford with their first pick. The oddsmakers at Bodog.com had Stafford the overwhelming favorite to be selected as the first round 1st pick overall.The move comes as no surprise to 2009 NFL Mock Draft Experts since Stafford and the Lions agreed to term earlier today. The deal includes a $41.7 million guarantee on a six year $78 million contact. Detroit has another first round selection with the 20th pick overall which was acquired in 2008 from the Dallas Cowboys. The 5th pick overall in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft goes to Cleveland and the Browns will most likely take Wake Forest LB Aaron Curry. The Cincinnati Bengals are sitting on the 6th pick overall and are expected to take OT Andre Smith from Alabama. The 7th pick overall by the Oakland Raiders will be Texas Tech WR Michael Crabtree. For the 8th pick overal in the 2009 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars will select Missouri Tigers WR Jeremy Maclin. With the 9th pick overall in the NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers will take DE Brian Orakpo of Texas.
