Oakland Raiders vs San Diego Chargers NFL Odds, NFL Predictions & NFL Picks: AFC West rivals Oakland and San Diego are set to meet for the second time this season. The two squads will face off at 4:05pm ET today at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. The Chargers won the first meeting 24-20, way back in week one, and are listed as a -16.5 against the spread favorite in this contest at Bookmaker.com's NFL Odds. Raiders Breakdown: Oakland followed up its stunning defeat of the Philadelphia Eagles with miserable effort against the Jets. Chargers Breakdown: San Diego, which will be seeking its first back-to-back wins of the season today, snapped a two game skid last weekend by pounding the Chiefs 37-7 in Kansas City. The easy win improved to the Chargers to 3-3 overall and left them three games back of the Broncos in the AFC West standings. It is all but imperative that Phillip Rivers and company take care of business against the Raiders this afternoon with the Giants, Eagles, and Broncos coming up over the next three weeks. That should not be a problem, though, as the Chargers are 6-0 in their last six games against Oakland at Qualcomm. NFL Odds Betting Trend: San Diego is 9-4-1 against the spread and 12-2 straight up over the last five years playing as a home favorite coming off a road win. New York flew into the Bay Area and dropped a 0-38 bomb on the Raiders to bring their record to a pathetic 2-5. The only that came out of the loss for Oakland was a potential quarterback controversy.
