Can the Cowboys keep their remarkable run going this weekend? The odds makers are answering that question with an emphatic ‘Yes’. Dallas, according to the latest NFL Point Spreads Week 11 from Bovada.lv, is favored by a touchdown in its upcoming clash with the Ravens at AT&T Stadium. If that prognostication comes to fruition, the Pokes will improve to 9-1 both straight up and against the spread.
Like Dallas, the Chiefs, Giants and Dolphins are also hoping to extend some impressive winning streaks.
Kansas City is eyeing a sixth straight win and the odds makers like them to get it against the 4-5 Buccaneers. The Chiefs are favored by 7.5 at home; however, Andy Reid’s squad has not been overly impressive opposite the number.
KC is 4-5 against the spread on the season and while they are 4-0 straight up at Arrowhead, they managed to cover in just one of those four games. In fact, the Chiefs are just 1-6 against the spread in their last seven as a home favorite and they have failed to cover in their last four as a home favorite of seven or more points.
Miami’s extended its winning streak to four games last Sunday, upsetting the Chargers in San Diego. The Dolphins, who have also covered in their last four games, will make a second consecutive trip to the West Coast this weekend as they face the Rams in Los Angeles. The odds makers have them favored by 2.5 points over L.A., which is giving rookie quarterback Jared Goff his first NFL start.
The Giants are looking for a fifth straight win as well and they too are favored, drawing a -7.5 line against the lowly Bears. New York is 4-1 at this season while Chicago is 0-5 on the road. And the Bears lost those five games by an average of 14.2 points per contest.
At the opposite end of the spectrum from those four teams are the Vikings, Jaguars, Browns and Steelers. Minnesota, Pittsburgh and Jacksonville have each dropped four straight while Cleveland enters Week 11 with 10 losses. All of those teams are underdogs this week save the Steelers, who are laying nine on the road against the Browns.
