A massive weekend of college football is on tap as several top 10 squads look to make strong cases in their bids to secure a spot in the CFP. There are seven ranked versus ranked matchups and none bigger than No. 9 Michigan State facing No. 3 Ohio State and No. 10 Baylor squaring off against No. 6 Oklahoma State.
The latest College Football Point Spreads Week 12 from offshore bookmaker Bovada.lv are favoring the Buckeyes at -13 against the spread while Mike Gundy’s Cowboys are drawing a -1 line in their meeting with the Bears.
Ohio State holds a 19-6 advantage in 25 meetings with Michigan State going back to 1980, but the Spartans have won two of their last four against the Buckeyes. They have also covered the number three times in the last six games between the two longtime rivals.
It is also worth noting that Ohio State is 1-7 against the spread in its last eight games playing as a home favorite of -13 or more points.
Oklahoma State has dropped two of its last three opposite Baylor, but it has been dominant in this series both from a straight up and ATS perspective. The Cowboys are 16-3-2 against the spread in their last 20 games against the Bears and they are 8-1 opposite the number in the last nine.
Also looking to make a splash this weekend are No. 5 Iowa and No. 7 Oklahoma. The Hawkeyes are a 22 point home favorite over Purdue. A line has not yet been issued on the TCU/Oklahoma game given the up-in-the-air status of Horned Frogs quarterback Trevone Bokin.
