The Vikings (11-2) beat Cincinnati 30-10 at home in Week 14 and sit first in the NFC North. QB Brett Favre made 17 of 30 passes for 192 yards with a TD and one interception; overall he’s thrown for 3,341 yards with 27 TD’s and six interceptions for a 105.7 passer rating. RB Adrian Peterson had 26 carries for 97 yards with two TD’s, while WR Bernard Berrian made four catches for 43 yards. WR Sidney Rice added their lone TD catch. The Vikings defense allowed the Bengals a low 91 yards passing. The Panthers are a power running team. With their fourth ranked running game they are going to try and pound the ball repeatedly down field, and if you stop them, you have a good chance of winning. Minnesota's Pat and Kevin Williams have been stopping opposing rushing attacks for a long time, and should they do so again, the Vikings will have a great chance to get a victory. The Vikings are the fourth best team in the league at stopping the rush. The Vikings 10th ranked pass game, led by WR Sidney Rice’s 1,075 yards receiving and five TD’s, is going to be up against a tough Panthers sixth ranked pass defense. Minnesota's Jared Allen has the most sacks in the NFL sine 2004 (70). The Vikings have averaged 27.7ppg and allowed 16.7ppg in their last three games. They are 4-2 SU on the road where they average 28.5ppg and give up an average21ppg.They are 8-4-1 ATS and 6-7 over/under.

The Panthers (5-8) lost at New England 10-20 in Week 14 and sit third in the NFC South. QB Matt Moore made 15 of 30 passes for 197 yards with one TD; overall he’s thrown for 421 yards with one TD and two interceptions for a 69.5 passer rating. RB DeAngelo Williams had 13 carries for 82 yards, while WR Steve Smith made two catches for 83 yards with a TD. The Panthers defense completely shut down Randy Moss last week and they’ll be looking to do the same this week . If the Panthers do shut down the Vikings in the air, they must watch for the Vikings 11th ranked running game, led by RB Adrian Peterson’s 1,206 yards rushing and 14 TD’s. The Panthers are ranked 26th against the rush. Carolina's Jon Beason has 39 tackles in his last three games. The Panthers have averaged 10.7ppg and allowed 14.3ppg in their last three games. They are 3-3 SU at home where they average 16.7ppg and allow 20.7ppg. They are 6-7 ATS and 5-8 over/under.
