Another thing to consider when making your NFL week 2 picks is that Green Bay Packers QB Brett Favre holds a fair share of records and with one more win he’ll move ahead of John Elway for the most wins by a starting quarterback (149). Favre became the first player to draw a round of applause from the Philadelphia Eagles sidelines mid-game for the job he did getting away from would-be tacklers behind the line of scrimmage. It was only a golf-clap, mind you, but they were standing.
On the next play, Favre acknowledged the crowd by performing a Peyton Manning-like impression as the play clock neared double-zeros, calling an audible and making hand gestures that no one seemed to understand.
