 NHL betting is about to begin heating up as we head into the start of the 2007 NHL Playoffs. The Buffalo Sabres at +150 are the favorites to win the Eastern Conference. The Sabres are looking to redeem their losing performance in last year's Eastern Conference finals to the Carolina Hurricanes.
The Sabres are the top seed in the Eastern Conference and will be taking on #8 seed New York Islanders +2200 in the first round. The Sabres should make it out of this series in 5 games.
The New Jersey Devils are the #2 seed taking on the #7 seed Tampa Bay Lightning. The New Jersey Devils at +450 offer great value to hockey bettors.
The #3 seed Atlanta Thrashers will be going against the #6 seed New York Rangers. The last two Stanley Cup winners have come from the Southeast Division. The Thrashers are hoping that some of the past Stanley Cup winners success will rub off on them. NHL bettors should take a good look at Atlanta at +800.
