With just weeks before BetMarkets returns for the second year to Vienna from 31 March – 1 April 2008, the conference has already attracted record numbers of delegates. Calvin Ayre, founder of Bodog, the global internet gambling giant whose ethos is to provide gambling as entertainment, says: “I am extremely happy to have representation at BetMarkets this year. This conference is a must attend event for executives to network and glean knowledge and information from experts in the industry.” BetMarkets, the only global sports betting conference, is set to be bigger and better than its successful launch in 2007. The highest calibre of industry speakers will share invaluable knowledge and experience, providing the essential tools for senior executives in online and land-based sports betting to improve their businesses. Amongst the list of speakers will be Alberto Eljarrat, CEO, Cirsa-Ladbrokes Betting Co (Spain); Pavel Moudry, CEO, Chance (Czech Republic); Petter Nylander, CEO, Unibet (Sweden); Mark Davies, Managing Director, Betfair (UK); Keith McDonnell, Director of European Operations, Bodog (Antigua); Michael Maerz, Director of Sportsbetting, PartyGaming (Gibraltar). BetMarkets 2008 will give delegates valuable insight into all facets of the industry, offering a forum to discuss how to better develop a profitable sports betting business in an increasingly competitive environment. Supported by BGT (Best Gaming Technology) for a second year as lead sponsor, this year’s conference also focuses heavily on industry networking opportunities ensuring delegates have the possibility to make the most of this unique event.
