The Dodgers and Giants will continue their series this evening after taking a brief respite last night. Los Angeles, who pounded San Francisco 11-1 on Monday, will host their division rivals for a 10:10pm ET game at Dodger Stadium tonight. San Francisco Giants vs Los Angeles Dodgers MLB Picks at Sportsbook.com have the Dodgers listed as a -154 moneyline favorite. The total for tonight's tilt is set at 7.5 with the under favored at -115 odds. Los Angeles banged out 15 hits on Monday, cruising to an easy 11-1 victory. The Dodgers treated veteran Randy Johnson rudely in his second start for the Giants, scoring seven earned runs off of the future Hall of Famer in 3.2 innings. The Dodgers, who hit two home runs in the game, also saw newly acquired second baseman Orlando Hudson hit for the cycle. Hudson is the first Dodger to do so since the 1970 season. LA starter Chad Billingsley was masterful in earning his second win of the season, working seven innings and allowing only one earned run. He also struck out 11 San Francisco batters. The win improved the Dodgers to 5-3 on the year and kept them in second place in the NL West behind the surprising 6-2 Padres. The Giants, who are now 2-5 and in last place in the division, managed just six hits in the lopsidded affair. San Francisco will attempt to rebound with right-hander Matt Cain taking the mound tonight. The 24 year old Alabama native is 1-0 this year with a 1.29 ERA. Cain pitched seven innings in a 7-1 San Francisco win versus the Brewers back on April 9th. He gave up four hits in the outing and allowed just one earned run. The Dodgers will send 21 year old Clayton Kershaw to the hill to face a Giants team that has scored a mere 27 runs on the season. Kershaw last pitched on April 9th, recording five innings of work in a 4-3 defeat at San Diego. Kershaw did not take the loss, however, as he gave up just two hits and one earned run. The Texas native has pitched just one inning against the Giants in his brief career; he gave up two hits and walked a batter in that appearance. Los Angeles and San Francisco split the season series last year 9-9, but the Dodgers got the better of things in LA, going 5-3 at Dodger Stadium.
