NLDS Predictions Preview…All eyes will be watching to see how the Chicago Cubs react to being down a game  at home in the NL Division Series to the Los Angeles Dodgers when they play Game 2 tonight at famed Wrigley Field in Chicago. While it’s too early to hit the panic button, the Cubs do face a must win situation. Following tonight’s game, the series shifts to Los Angeles where a sweep there by the Dodgers would send LA to the league championship series.

For Game-2, the Cubs will pin their hopes on their ace, Carlos Zambrano . The big right hander went 14-6 with a 3.91 ERA during the regular season. The Dodgers will counter with Chad Billingsley. The Dodger right hander went 16-10 with a 3.09 ERA.

Oddsmakers at Sportsbook.com currently have the Cubs listed as 151-moneyline favorites versus the Dodgers, with an 8 ½ run total.

Billingsley pitched like an ace during the regular season, leading the club in wins (16) and strikeouts (201) and going 3-0 in September. He's 0-1 with a 4.91 ERA this year against the Cubs and 1-1 against them with a 3.60 ERA overall.

Zambrano is 7-2 with a 3.77 ERA at home and 7-4 with a 4.07 ERA on the road. He's been a little erratic in the final month. He is 0-0 with a 3.09 ERA in two NLDS starts.

James Loney belted a grand slam in leading the Dodgers to a 7-2 win over the Cubs in Game 1 of this series on Wednesday, as +140 road underdogs. The nine runs made it OVER the posted over/under (7).

Manny Ramirez had two hits with one RBI and two runs scored for the Dodgers. Derek Lowe allowed two runs off seven hits over six innings for the win.

Mark DeRosa went hit a two-run homer for the Cubs. Ryan Dempster gave up four runs over 4 2-3 innings in that loss.

NLDS Predictions…It will be interesting how the Cubs react with their backs to the wall. The Dodgers, after upsetting the Cubs in Game-1, should be relaxed.  We like the Dodgers to pull another upset as a +141 money line underdog.
