Philadelphia Phillies at Milwaukee Brewers NLDS Game-3 Predictions…The Milwaukee Brewers have no tomorrow if they don’t win today when they play the Philadelphia Phillies in Game-3 of the best-of-five National League Divisional Series at Miller Park in Milwaukee. The Brewers, who must sweep three straight in order to continue in the series, will pin their hopes on David Bush. The right hander has a 4.28 ERA to go along with a 9-10 record this season. Philadelphia will depend on the old wily veteran left hander, Jamie Moyer to close things out. Forty-Six year old Moyer is 16-7 this season with a 3.71 ERA. Oddsmakers at sports betting power-book Sportsbook.com , expect some home cooking to be good for the Brewers having them installed as slight -115 money line favorites for Game-3 with a 9 total. Phillies backers are getting +105 money line odds. According to MLB.com Bush went 7-3 over his final 18 regular-season appearances with a 3.23 ERA and was charged with three or fewer earned runs in 13 of those 17 starts. But Bush, who was 4-0 in August with a 2.12 ERA, was not immune to the Brewers' September swoon. He was winless in five September starts with a 4.97 ERA before working three scoreless frames in Milwaukee's next-to-last game of the year. That September streak included a loss in Game 1 of a Sept. 14 doubleheader in Philadelphia. Bush was charged with three runs on five hits in that game, a 7-3 Brewers loss. No one will be more prepared for the big game than Jamie Moyer, who pitched the division-clinching game for Philadelphia for the second straight season. Moyer won 16 games, tying Phil Niekro for the most wins by a pitcher beyond his 45th birthday, and recorded the most wins since winning 21 in 2003. The lefty has a 2.43 ERA in five career postseason starts. Shane Victorino hit a grand slam to lift the Phillies to a 5-2 win over the Brewers in Game 2 on Thursday, as +115 underdogs. The seven runs fell UNDER the posted over/under (8). Victorino finished 3-for-4 at the plate, and Pedro Feliz drove in the other run for the Phillies. Brett Myers allowed two runs over seven innings in earning the victory. J.J. Hardy and Craig Counsell drove in the runs for the Brewers in that game. C.C. Sabathia gave up five runs off six hits over 3 2-3 innings in taking the loss. NLDS Game-3 predictions…Look for the old left hander Moyer to keep the young Milwaukee bats out of sync all day. We like the Phillies to upset Milwaukee (+105 ML) in today’s game and finish the series.
