Magic at Hawks NBA Picks – March 24th, 2010: It is do or die time for the Atlanta Hawks Southeast Division chances as they trail the Magic by 4.5 games with just 11 games left on the regular season docket. Orlando comes into tonight's game on a torrid pace, having won three in a row and 10 of its last 11 games. The Magic 
have also won back-to-back road games, beating Eastern Conference foes Miami and Philadelphia by a combined 22 points. Orlando's lights out play has improved its record to 50-21 on the year and left them in second place in the Eastern Conference standings, where they are six games back of the Cavaliers and 4.5 games ahead of the Celtics and Hawks.
Tonight's game marks the fourth and final meeting between these two teams. The Magic won the first three get-togethers rather handily, scoring a 93-76 win in Atlanta on November 26th and 113-81 and 104-86 home wins after that. Dwight Howard had his way in all three games as he averaged 21.6 points and 14.3 rebounds per.
Atlanta lost for just the second time in its last seven games on Monday, falling 95-98 at Milwaukee, despite a 27 point effort from shooting guard Joe Johnson. The loss dropped the Hawks record to 45-25 and reduced their lead over the fifth place Bucks to 5.5 games in the Eastern Conference standings.
In spite of their troubles with the Magic, Atlanta should have a shot at home this evening, where it is 28-7 on the season. Four of the Hawks last seven home games have required overtime, though; Atlanta went 3-1 in those contests, losing only to Dallas (111-113).
