The Mavericks got 29 points from Jason Terry and 13 boards from Caron Butler in the victory. The win brought the team to within four games of the Lakers and kept them a half game ahead of the surging Jazz in the Western Conference standings.
Dallas is 26-11 at the American Airlines Arena this season; however, the Mavs are just 3-2 in their last five home games, losing to Boston and New York.
This evening's game is scheduled to tip off at 8:00pm ET.
