The Orlando Magic and the Cleveland Cavaliers will kick start the Eastern Conference Finals on Wednesday night at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Orlando beat the defending champion Boston Celtics to advance to meet the NBA's top seed. Cleveland coasted to a 4-0 conference semifinal series over the Atlanta Hawks. Orlando scored a huge 101-82 game seven win in Boston on Sunday to earn a Conference Finals shot at the Cavaliers. The series win over the Celtics followed the Magic's opening round ouster of the Philadelphia 76ers. Stan Van Gundy's team is now 8-5 in 13 post-season games.

Cleveland was the most dominant team in the league during the regular season and they have carried their top tier act into the playoffs. The Cavaliers are unblemished in eight post-season games, beating both the Pistons and the Hawks 4-0. The Cavs have won by an average of 16.8 points per game in the playoffs and have yet to win by fewer than 10 points.

The Cavaliers defense has improved upon its amazing regular season numbers, holding the Pistons and Hawks to a ridiculous 78.1 points per game on 39.7 percent shooting in the post-season.

LeBron James has been an unstoppable force for Head Coach Mike Brown, averaging a post-season best 32.9 points per game (53.2 percent field goal shooting) as well as 9.8 rebounds and 6.8 assist per contest. Aiding James has been off-season acquistion Mo Williams; the former Michigan State Spartan is averaging 14.8 points per game in the playoffs. 

The Magic won the three game regular season set between these two squads 2-1. The two teams last met on April 3rd in Orlando where the Magic scored a lopsided 116-87 victory.
