Allen hit eight three point shots, an NBA Finals record, on 11 attempts for a team high 32 points. Rajon Rondo added a triple-double by scoring 19 points, grabbing 12 rebounds, and dishing out 10 assists. Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett combined for a lackluster 16 points on 4-of-16 shooting.
With the next three games in Boston, the Lakers will have to capture at least one contest in Bean Town in order to get the series back to Los Angeles. Phil Jackson's squad has fared well at the Garden recently, having won two in a row and five of their last 10 at the facility. The Celtics are 7-2 at home in the Playoffs, losing to Cleveland and Orlando by an average of 16.5 points per game.
