Texas vs Nebraska 2010 College Football Picks, 2010 College Football Predictions & 2010 College Football Odds: The reeling Texas Longhorns will look to avoid their third straight loss tomorrow when they meet the No. 5 Nebraska Cornhuskers in Lincoln. The Big 12 North versus South showdown is scheduled to kickoff at 3:30pm ET at Memorial Stadium; the rivalry tilt, which is a rematch of last year's Big 12 Championship Game, will be broadcast live on ABC. 2010 College Football Picks, Predictions & Odds at SBGglobal.com have the Cornhuskers listed as a -9.5 against the spread home favorite and the game total set at 46.5.

Texas followed up its shocking 34-12 home loss to UCLA with a 28-20 loss to Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry on OctoberTexas vs Nebraska 2010 College Football Picks, Predictions & Odds 2nd. The Longhorns sputtering offense, which has faltered under the watch of sophomore signal caller Garrett Gilbert, produced 373 yards and 15 first downs against the Sooners.

The aforementioned Gilbert completed 27-of-41 passes for 266 yards and one interception while the Texas rushing attack accounted for 107 rush yards on 22 carries.

The Longhorns defense, which got gashed for 264 rush yards against the Bruins, limited Oklahoma to 360 yards and a 2.4 yards per carry average. However, they could not contain DeMarco Murray, who rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns in dropping Texas to 3-2 on the year.

Nebraksa, which has had this game circled since falling to Texas in last year's Big 12 title game, improved to 5-0 last Thursday night with a 48-13 shellacking of Kansas State in Manhattan. Quarterback Taylor Martinez, who ranks first in the nation in yards per carry (10.8), was simply unstoppable in the route. The redshirt freshman ran for a jaw dropping 241 yards and four touchdowns on 15 carries.

Martinez was not alone in the heavy lifting as senior tailback Roy Helu Jr. piled up 110 yards and one score on eight carries.

The Huskers defense, which ranks fourth in the nation in points per game allowed (12.8), took care of the rest, limiting the Wildcats 315 total yards.

Texas comes into this game having won its last five meetings with the Huskers, including a 13-12 win in last year's conference championship. The Huskers have covered in the last three contests, though, all as a dog, losing to the Longhorns by a combined six points.

College Football Predictions Betting Trend: Nebraska is 4-0 straight up and against the spread as a home favorite against a Big 12 foe with a spread between 8 and 10.5.
