College Football Point Spreads Week 11

Top ranked Clemson will chase its tenth win of the season tomorrow afternoon when it battles ACC Atlantic Division rival Syracuse at Carrier Dome. The Tigers have also been a solid against the spread play this year, posting a 5-3-1 mark opposite the number. They have a large one to cover on Saturday, though, coming in as a -27.5 favorite over the Orange according to the latest College Football Point Spreads Week 11 from Bovada.lv.

Clemson, though, is not the only top five program staring at a double digit spread. No. 3 Ohio State, No. 4 Notre Dame and No. 5 Iowa are drawing -17, -28 and -11.5 lines against Illinois, Wake Forest and Minnesota, respectively.

No. 2 Alabama faces the most difficult task of the nation’s best teams, squaring off against No. 17 Mississippi State in Starkville. The Crimson Tide are favored by 7.5 over the Bulldogs, a team they have defeated seven straight times.

Mississippi State has, however, covered the number in three of its last four meetings with Alabama and it is 6-2 against the spread in its last eight games playing as a home underdog. The Under has also been popular in this series, producing an 8-0 mark since November of 2007.

Also under the ‘teams with a lot to lose’ category are Big 12 squads Baylor and Oklahoma State. The Bears host No. 12 Oklahoma while the Cowboys look to avoid a letdown against Iowa State in Ames.

Baylor is favored by three over the Sooners and Okie State is laying 13.5 against the Cyclones. Art Briles’ crew has won three of its last four against Oklahoma and it covered the number in each of those outings. Iowa State, though, is 5-3 both straight up and against the spread in its last eight games hosting Mike Gundy’s Pokes.
