Kobalt Tools 500 Betting Odds: The Sprint Cup Series has made its way to the Peach State this weekend for the annual running of the Kobalt Tools 500 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. The 330 lap affair is scheduled to go green at 1:00pm ET this afternoon on FOX. Kobalt Tools 500 Betting Odds at online bookmaker SPORTSBETTING.com have Las Vegas native Kyle Busch listed as a +400 moneyline favorite to win this afternoon's race. Four time Sprint Cup Champion Jimmie Johnson is the co-favorite, also coming in at 4 to 1 odds. Kyle Busch has yet to record a top 10 finish this season; however, he has displayed greater consistency than a year ago. The brash 24 year old took 14th at both the Daytona 500 and Auto Club 500 before placing 15th in last week's Shelby American in Las Vegas. Not great work, but good enough for 12th in the points standings heading into today's Atlanta run. Busch, who has 16 career wins, took first place in the 2008 Kobalt Tools 500 (led 173 laps) and he has two top five and two top 10 finishes at the speedway in 11 career races there. Busch's No. 18 Joe Gibbs Toyota will start today's race on the outside of the front row, next to pole winner Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jimmie Johnson, the defending Sprint Cup Champion, has won the last two races and he has three career wins in 17 runs at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. The California native will have some serious ground to make up this afternoon, though, after qualifying 35th for today's race. Other top contenders include Rick Hendrick teammates Jeff Gordon (+700) and Mark Martin (+700) as well as the aformentioned Earnhardt (+800), Kasey Kahne (+800), and current point leader Kevin Harvick (+900). Gordon, who start today's race in the five spot, has four wins and 14 top five finishes in 35 career outings at Atlanta. Earnhardt (1), Martin (2), Harvick (1), and Kahne (2) have all tasted success at the 50 year old track too, winning a combined six races at the historic venue. SPORTSBETTING.com Kobalt Tools 500 Betting Odds: Jimmie Johnson +400 Kyle Busch +400 Mark Martin +700 Jeff Gordon +700 Dale Earnhardt Jr. +800 Kasey Kahne +800 Kevin Harvick +900 Juan Montoya +1000 Carl Edwards +1100 Clint Bowyer +1400 Greg Biffle +1500 Tony Stewart +1500 Matt Kenseth +1500 Jeff Burton +1600 Kurt Busch +1700 Cash in with sign-up bonuses, weekly reload bonuses and free payouts at SPORTSBETTING.com, where betting is safe, secure and easy. |

Jimmie Johnson Odds to win Kobalt Tools 500: The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is in Atlanta this week for the Kobalt Tools 500 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. The 330 lap race is set to get underway at 1:00pm ET on Sunday, March 7th on FOX; qualifying takes place tonight at 6:00pm on the SPEED Network. Odds to win Kobalt Tools 500 at Sportsbook.com have Jimmie Johnson listed as a +450 moneyline favorite to be the first to take the checkered flag. Defending Sprint Cup Champion Jimmie Johnson comes into Sunday's race with a great deal of momentum. Since finishin g 35th at Daytona, Johnson has won back-to-back races, taking first place at the Auto Club 500 in Fontana and the Shelby American in Las Vegas. Johnson led just 18 laps of last week's Vegas run, compared to Jeff Gordon's 219, but he was out front when it mattered most, giving him his 49th career Sprint Cup win. His stellar outing resulted in a move to fifth place in the points standings (12th going into last weekend's race), where he is just 63 points behind current leader Kevin Harvick. Atlanta, like many of the tracks on the NASCAR circuit, has been kind to Johnson in the past. In 17 career races at the legendary speedway, the California native has recorded three wins (18 percent), nine top five (53 percent), and 11 top 10 finishes (65 percent). Last year, however, he did not perform as well in Atlanta, finishing a respectable ninth in the Kobalt Tools 500 and a distant 36th in the September Pep Boys 500 race. NASCAR Sprint Cup - Las Vegas Odds: Two races into the newest NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season and we've had a shocker for a winner and a victory by one of the usual suspects. This Sunday the circuit continues with some wide-open racing with a stop in Las Vegas for the running of the 400-mile Shelby American at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (3 pm Eastern, Fox).
Longshot Jamie McMurray won the Daytona 500 two weeks ago, paying off at +4,000 at SBGglobal.com. Last Sunday, four-time defending series champion Jimmie Johnson held off Kevin Harvick to win the Auto Club 500 at Fontana as a post-time +150 favorite.
Harvick, who went off at +1,500 on SBGglobal.com's Auto Club 500 betting board last Sunday, finished second; Jeff Burton, at +2,500, took third; Mark Martin, a co-second favorite at +800, finished fourth; and Joey Logano, at +7,500, placed fifth.
Last year at Vegas pole-winner Kyle Busch fended off Clint Bowyer late to win the Shelby 427. Burton showed third, David Reutimann ran fourth, and Bobby Labonte took fifth.
Carl Edwards won the Vegas event in 2008, and Johnson won at Vegas three times in a row from 2005-07. Matt Kenseth won there back-to-back in 2003-04, and Jeff Gordon took checkered at Vegas in 2001.
With Johnson and Gordon in the cockpit, Chevies have won four of the last nine races at Las Vegas. And with Edwards and Kenseth, Fords have won three of those last nine Vegas events.
As of Sunday morning SBG Global has Johnson listed as the favorite to win Sunday's race at +300. He's followed by Martin, Kyle Busch and Tony Stewart at +600; Gordon and Denny Hamlin at +800; Harvick at +1,000; Edwards and Burton at +1,500; Bowyer, Kurt Busch, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Juan Pablo Montoya and Kasey Kahne at +2,000; Greg Biffle at +2,500; Kenseth at +3,000; McMurray at +4,000; Ryan Newman and Joey Logano at +6,000; Brian Vickers at +7,500; Reutimann at +10,000; and Martin Truex Jr., David Ragan, Marcos Ambrose, Brad Keselowski, Sam Hornish, Jr. and AJ Allmendinger at +12,500. And The Field is listed at +5,000. Bet on sports at internet sportsbook SBG Global and receive up to 295% in Cash Bonuses and start winning today! |

Shelby American Betting Odds: The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series tackles the Las Vegas Motor Speedway this afternoon for the 427 mile Shelby American. The race is scheduled to begin at 3:00pm ET on FOX. Shelby American Betting Odds at online bookmaker Sportsbook.com have defending Sprint Cup Champion Jimmie Johnson listed as a +500 moneyline favorite to win today's event. Pole winner Kurt Busch, who drives the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge for Penske Championship Racing, is currently listed at +1000 moneyline odds to be the first to take the checkered flag today. Jimmie Johnson did not have a good season opening run at Daytona, but the California native made up for it last weekend with a dominating performance at the Auto Club 500 in Fontana. Johnson started the race in seventh and went on to finish first after leading 101 laps of the the 250 lap affair. The victory improved the four time Cup champs position on the leaderboard to 12th, where he is 78 points back of first place (Kevin Harvick). Johnson is hoping for a better showing in Vegas this year than the one he produced last March. The 34 year old started third in last year's Shelby 427, but went on to finish an uncharacteristic 24th, despite leading 92 laps. In eight career races at the track, Johnson has typically shown well, though, producing three wins, three top five and four top 10 finishes. Johnson will begin this afternoon's race on the 10th row (20th position) next to Kasey Kahne's No. 9 Budweiser Ford. Also listed at +500 moneyline odds to win today's race is Las Vegas native Kyle Busch. Busch, who will start the Shelby American from the fifth position, has been solid at his home track, winning one time in six career outings at the facility to go along with three top five and four top 10 finishes. Busch won last year's Shelby 427 after taking the pole and leading 51 laps. Other driver's viewed as strong threats to win the third race of the season include Mark Martin (+800), Jeff Gordon (+800), Kurt Busch (+1000), Tony Stewart (+1200), Kevin Harvick (+1200), and Greg Biffle (+1200). The six drivers have a combined two wins (Gordon and Martin) in 59 Sprint Cup races at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Sportsbook.com Shelby American Betting Odds: Jimmie Johnson +500 Kyle Busch +500 Mark Martin +800 Jeff Gordon +800 Kurt Busch +1000 Tony Stewart +1200 Kevin Harvick +1200 Greg Biffle +1200 Jeff Burton +1200 Clint Bowyer +1500 Carl Edwards +1500 Juan Pablo Montoya +1500 Dale Earnhardt Jr. +1800 Denny Hamlin +2000 Matt Kenseth +2000 Kasey Kahne +1500 Get a 50% Deposit Bonus and $25 Free Bet at Sportsbook.com, simply use promo code WIN100 and start winning today! |

Shelby American Betting Odds: The Sprint Cup Series lands in Las Vegas this week for the Shelby American at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The race is scheduled for 3:00pm ET on Sunday, February 28th; it will be broadcast live on FOX. Qualifying is set for 6:30pm ET tonight on the SPEED Network. Shelby American Betting Odds at Sportsbook.com have Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart paired in their NASCAR Matchups. Gordon is currently listed as a -145 moneyline favorite to finsh ahead of Stewart. Jeff Gordon finds himself in unfamiliar territory coming into this weekend's Las Vegas race, sitting 22nd in the Sprint Cup points standings. Granted, the season is just two races old, but Gordon failed to crack the top 20 at both Daytona and the Auto Club Speedway, tracks he typically performs well at. Now the California native needs a solid outing in the desert to keep any pressure from mounting. Gordon has certainly acquitted himself well in Vegas, recording one win, five top five and six top 10 finishes in 12 career races at the track. Last year Gordon led 17 laps at the Shelby 427 and placed sixth after starting in the 28 hole. Tony Stewart, while not as far back in the standings as Gordon, needs a good showing in Sin City as well. Stewart is presently 17th in the points standings, despite a ninth place run at the Auto Club 500 last weekend. And the Indiana native does not the same kind of track record at Vegas that Gordon does. In 11 career outings at the track, Stewart has no wins, four top five and six top 10 finishes. Not bad numbers, but he is clearly a step behind the No. 24 car at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Sportsbook.com Shelby American: Jeff Gordon vs Tony Stewart Betting Odds
