Portsmouth’s Sol Campbell will make a much awaited return to the England side as replacement for injured captain John Terry for Saturday’s Euro 2008 qualifier against Estonia. England are -160 odds with SportsBetting.com to win by three or more goals against the Estonian minnows. England chief Steve McClaren said the 33-year-old veteran defender will play alongside Rio Ferdinand against Estonia in place of Terry, who has been ruled out with a knee strain."I can confirm that John Terry won't play and Sol Campbell will be the one to come in," commented McClaren. "To be able to call on someone with that experience, that quality, that is tremendous. His reaction has been excellent, as expected." The England coach added that he is certain he has found an excellent replacement in Campbell. England then face Russia in a vital Group E qualifier on Wednesday. McLaren said he expects to know by Monday whether Terry will be fit for that match. Speaking to the British media he commented: "Terry´s knee settled down and we'll hope it settles down in the next two days and we'll make a decision on Monday." McClaren added that whether to choose fit again Frank Lampard or Gareth Barry in midfield was tough to call. Aston Villa man Barry looks favourite to get the nod after filling in for Lampard with great success. "It's a massive decision but a good one to be in to have two players who have performed well," McClaren said. "Frank Lampard has performed consistently over the years, Gareth Barry has come in to the last two games and done well. It will be finalised later."
