The Oakland Raiders host the red hot Cincinnati Bengals, Sunday Nov 22, as the Bengals look for an easy road win. The Raiders have won three of the past four. NFL oddsmakers at Sportsbetting.com have the Bengals as -9.5 point road favs over the Raiders with the over/under set at 36 points . Be sure to get your Cincinnati Bengals vs Oakland Raiders NFL Week 11 Picks in now at Sportsbetting.com

The Bengals (7-2) won at Pittsburgh 18-12 in Week 10 and still sit atop the . QB Carson Palmer made 18 of 30 passes for 178 yards; overall he’s thrown for 2,010 yards with 14 TD passes and seven interceptions for a 88.1 passer rating. RB Bernard Scott had 13 carries for 33 yards, and WR Laveranues Coles made five catches for 67 yards. The Bengals defense had four sacks and pulled down one interception on the day. All Bengal points came from Shayne Graham. The Bengals CB’s Leon Hall and Jonathan Joseph are considered to be one of the best, if not the best, cornerback tandems in the NFL . They should have little trouble containing Oakland's undistinguished cadre of receivers. They have a combined eight interceptions this season. The Bengals offense is ranked 20th overall with a 19th ranked pass game and an 11th ranked running game and they’ll be all over the Raiders 24th ranked defense that gives up a high 24.1ppg. The Bengals have a chance to win five road games in a row for the first time in club history. Cincinnati has firmly established itself as the favorite in the AFC North. They’ve already swept its two chief rivals, Pittsburgh and Baltimore and the Raiders should not present much of a challenge to the Bengals. They must avoid a letdown after last week's emotional win. The Bengals average 22ppg and give up 16.3ppg, while they are 4-0 SU on the road where they average 22.2ppg and allow 17.5ppg. They are 6-3 ATS and 4-5 over/under.

The Raiders (2-7) lost to Kansas City 10-16 in Week 10. QB JaMarcus Russell made nine of 24 passes for 67 yards before he was benched for backup QB Bruce Gradowski, who made four of eight passes for 46 yards with two interceptions. RB Michael Bush had 14 carries for 119 yards, while RB Justin Fargas added a TD. Their top WR Johnnie Lee Higgins made four catches for 41 yards. Russell was benched for ineffectiveness in two of the past three games as Coach Tom Cable grew more frustrated with Russell's inaccuracy and poor decision-making in his third season in the NFL. They mostly stick to their ground game, which is currently ranked 20th, led by RB Michael Bush. The Raiders are 8-0 all-time against the Bengals at home . The Raiders average 9.8ppg and give up 24.1ppg, while they are 1-4 SU at home where they average 9.2ppg and allow 22ppg. They are 4-5 ATS and 3-6 over/under.

Recent Trends to Consider:
  • Under is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings.
  • Bengals are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game.
  • Bengals are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games on grass.
  • Bengals are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games.
  • Bengals are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall.
  • Raiders are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. AFC.

Dear BETonSPORTS Customers, Vantis Recovers Funds PDF Print E-mail
Written by Thomas Jensen
Friday, 20 November 2009
Point-Spreads.com was forwarded a copy of a letter going out by Vantis, the liquidators of BETonSPORTS. All former players should reach out to claim any funds owed. It looks like the liquidators have been able to recover some of the funds owed to the company before its collapse.

Dear BETonSPORTS Customer,

Further to our report in July 2009 we write to provide a further UPDATE with regard to Liquidation matters. This report is to be read in the context of those previous reports.

Assets
In our last report we advised  that we had been able to reconstruct sufficient company records to instruct lawyers to commence recovery of a credit card payment processor debt. Our lawyers have now entered into  correspondence with the debtor, and in an attempt to resolve the dispute in a cost effective way, a meeting was recently held with the debtor with a view to reaching settlement.

A further exchange of information was agreed, after which time we will invite a settlement or proceed with litigation. The nature of the debt is highly complex, as it relates to  several million dollars worth of gaming debts processed by credit cards during the BETonSPORTS trading period. We are also pursuing a US citizen for a debt, having recently acquired supporting documentation to the debt from our investigations in Costa Rica.

Gary Kaplan Forfeiture
Gary Kaplan, a founder director and shareholder of BETonSPORTS, has been sentenced in the USA to a term of 51 months in prison for conspiring to  violate U.S. racketeering and other laws. As part of a plea agreement he also forfeited personal assets of over $43 million to the US government.

We immediately sought legal  advice in the US with a view to laying claim to a portion of  these funds on behalf of the BETonSPORTS creditors and after  careful consideration of the options open to us we have now lodged a petition with the US Attorney General under US Remission Proceedings. We await the outcome of the Attorney General's deliberations.

Creditors
Despite attempting to contact over 89,000 potential creditors by either email, mail or public advertisement, we still have only received claims from  9,206 player creditors totaling $8,099,905 and in addition we have now agreed claims from trade creditors totaling  $14,711,552.

General
We continue diligently to pursue the assets of the company with a view to maximising the return to the gaming clients and other creditors. We continue  to investigate the pre liquidation activities of the Company, and the board of directors, and we have a continuing dialogue with the Department of Justice in the USA, and the High Court in Antigua and Barbuda with regard to all Liquidation matters.

As stated previously we have no interest or desire to delay matters or allow the proceedings to become unnecessarily protracted. BETonSPORTS generated over $1.1 billion of gaming turnover per annum in various jurisdictions around the world. Unwinding the affairs of such a company is a highly complex exercise.

In view of the fact that there are many thousands of individual creditors, it is not  cost effective to pay interim distributions to creditors.  However we will seek to distribute funds as soon as asset recoveries permit. The current financial position of the Liquidation estate is as  follows:
Assets recovered to date: $2,160,511
Liquidators' fees to date: ($131,595)
Legal fees & other disbursements to date: ($692,452)
Balance of funds in hand as at 16.11.09 - $1,336,464

A further update will be  circulated in due course.

To register your claim if you have not already done so please complete  the details via the weblink below, using your creditor reference to confirm your claim against the company.

If you do not wish to  claim in this matter and do not want to receive any  further emails from us please go to:

The Jets have the league’s best running game and they’ll look for open gaps against the Pats 17th ranked rush defense. RB Thomas Jones leads their running game with 781 yards rushing and eight TD’s. RB Laurence Maroney has a rushing TD in four straight games and when he scores on the ground, the Patriots are 15-2 SU . California vs Stanford College Football Predictions Picks: The California Golden Bears and Stanford Cardinal will meet tomorrow in a Top 25 clash at Stanford Stadium in Palo Alto. The No. 17 Cardinal, which are trying to overtake the first place Oregon Ducks in the Pac-10 standings, will be chasing a fourth straight victory. Kickoff time in this conference battle is set for 7:30pm ET. College Football Predictions Picks at online bookmaker BetUS.com have the Bears listed as a +7.5 against the spread road dog.

California bounced back from a home loss to Oregon State and improved to 7-3 last week by beating the Arizona Wildcats California vs Stanford College Football Predictions Picks24-16 in Berkeley. The Bears topped Arizona without the services of running back Jahvid Best, who suffered a concussion in the loss to the Beavers. Sophomore Shane Vereen filled in admirably for the All-American, who will be out again this week, rushing 30 times for 159 yards and one touchdown. Vereen's effort made up for a dismal outing from quarterback Kevin Riley, who completed 13-of-22 passes for 181 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

The Bears enter tomorrow's meeting with Stanford sitting in sixth place in the Pac 10 with a 4-3 conference record. They are 3-1 on the road this season with wins at Minnesota, UCLA, and Arizona State.

Stanford won its third straight game last weekend, drubbing USC 55-21 at the Los Angeles Coliseum. The lopsided win featured another powerhouse effort from senior running back Toby Gerhart. The 22 year old Norco, California native carried the ball 29 times for 178 yards and three touchdowns, leading the offense to 24 first downs and 469 total yards.

The Cardinal defense held the Trojans to a meager 17 first downs and 334 yards. They also picked off freshman quarterback Matt Barkley three times in the big win.

Stanford, at 7-3 overall and 6-2 in conference, is just a half game back of the Ducks in the Pac 10. Jim Harbaugh's Cardinal close out the season with a non-conference tilt against Notre Dame; Oregon faces Arizona this Saturday and finishes up against Oregon State on December 3rd.

Kansas State vs Nebraska College Picks Predictions PDF Print E-mail
Written by Matt Foust
Friday, 20 November 2009

Kansas State vs Nebraska College Picks Predictions: The Kansas State Wildcats are in Lincoln, Nebraska this Saturday to decide the winner of the Big 12's North Division. The Huskers presently have a one game lead over the Wildcats, but would be unable to get past them with a loss tomorrow. Kickoff is set for 7:45pm ET on ESPN. College Football Picks Predicitons at Bookmaker.com have the Cornhuskers listed as a -16.5 against the spread home favorite.

The Wildcats come into this critical contest having lost two of their last three games. Still, Bill Synder's crew has a 4-3 Kansas State vs Nebraska College Picks Predictionsconference record (6-5 overall), which is good enough for second place in the bottom heavy Big 12 North. Kansas State got blasted last weekend in Manhattan, falling 12-38 to the Missouri Tigers.

The Cats possessed the ball 38:19 against Mizzou, but managed just 21 first downs and 351 total yards. Conversely, the Tigers quick strike offense proved too much for K-State's defense, racking up 433 yards on the strength of a 10 catch, 200 yard, three touchdown effort from wide receiver Denario Alexander.

Despite their recent woes, the Wildcats can win the Big 12 North and a meeting with the Texas Longhorns in the Big 12 Championship. A win over Nebraska would give then a 5-3 league record and the critical head-to-head tiebreaker over Bo Pelini's squad.

Nebraska enters tomorrow's clash with quite a bit of positive momentum having reeled off three straight wins. The Cornhuskers improved to 7-3 last Saturday with a 31-17 over the Jayhawks in Lawrence, Kansas. The offense, which has had some huge struggles this year, got a big boost from a healthy Roy Helu Jr. Helu powered his way to 156 yards and three touchdowns on 28 carries, which took pressure off of beleaguered quarterback Zac Lee. Lee completed just 13-of-21 passes for 196 yards, but he did not have any turnovers.

Nebraska is 4-2 at home this season, but the Wildcats are a meager 1-4 on the road where they have averaged 18.4 points and given up an average of 34.2 in return.

Bookmaker.com Kansas State vs Nebraska College Picks Predictions:

Kansas State Wildcats +16.5 (-110), Over 44.5 (-110), +605 (Moneyline)

Nebraska Cornhuskers -16.5 (-110), Under 44.5 (-110), -805 (Moneyline)
